AI and machine learning are integral to everyday life, from streaming services to smart home controls and data analysis. Understanding these technologies is crucial for navigating digital trends, alongside essential data literacy in managing large datasets.
Despite their importance, interdisciplinary IT skills for life sciences students remain underrepresented in universities. These skills enhance CVs and support intelligent data analysis in research projects, making them invaluable.
Our objective is to offer courses covering programming, data analytics, machine learning, and AI basics. Courses will focus on information systems, IoT, and applications in fields like environmental sciences and health. Initially, we'll provide a selection of flexible courses suitable for M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, with options for short-term intensive or distance-learning formats.
